This tiny little peanut made her entrance into the world a little sooner than her Mom and Dad expected. She was still so tiny when she came to visit me, and was such a perfect little doll. It has been so amazing to see her grow over the last few months, and I know she is keeping her Momma very busy now!
I have an exciting opportunity for all you wonderful expecting Mommies-to-be in the Edmonton area! Book your newborn session during the month of April (you don’t have to be having your baby in April, simply book your newborn session) and receive a complimentary (that means free!) in-studio mini maternity session! If you would like more details on this offer, contact me here, and we can chat!
Since spring in Edmonton doesn’t seem to be a thing for Mother Nature this year, and the snow never seems to be stopping, I won’t feel guilty for still blogging photos with snow in them! I guess that’s the fun part of about living in Edmonton, you just have to keep on embracing the cold and snow. It was a little bit of a challenge with spring break this week though because my kids had wanted to do things like ride bikes, and visit playgrounds. But, alas, that will have to wait a few more weeks this year. Until then you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee and this adorable family and their photos.
I first met Frankie’s mom, Richelle, at Barre Body Edmonton. There she could be found pulsing and plieing her way through her pregnancy, and completely rocking it each and every class she attended! Richelle, is also half of the amazing team behind the blog, River City Sisters. If you are looking for recipes, fashion, decor and so much more, with a local Edmonton focus, take a peek and follow them along. Here, however, I have the honour of featuring Richelle’s new beautiful baby girl Frankie! This bright-eyed little girl was 19 days only when she came to visit me in the studio and was simply beautiful to work with and photograph.
If you are in the Edmonton area and are looking to book your newborn session, don’t delay! As the snow finally starts to melt, and spring arrives, my schedule fills up much faster! If you would like more information, please contact me here.
It’s cold outside today. There’s still that winter bite in the air, and too much snow, even though it’s technically spring. But as anyone who lives in Edmonton knows, that just the way this time of year is. Spring has to be close, but until then, lets heat things up a little in here!
I have two opening left in April and one in May for boudoir sessions. I would love to chat with you and have you visit the studio for your session. Message me here, and mention this blog post and I even have an extra special promo just for you when you book your session!
Sometimes the most special location for family photos is the home you grew up in. Surrounded by love and memories there is nothing better. For this family, it was even more special, as the house would soon be sold, and a new chapter of everyone’s life would start. To watch this family all together, with a new generation in their home, and for them to invite me in to share it with them was truly special.
If you are looking at booking a family session for this spring or summer, you can message me here. Details about Mother’s Day mini session will be announced soon and will take place in May! Stay tuned, and if you would like to receive information about them before the general public, sign up for our Studio Insiders list here!
The littlest of three children, Miller was such a sweet baby boy when he was in the studio. I never tire of all the baby snuggles I get to enjoy when newborn babies come into the studio. It is truly the most amazing part of my job, a little side benefit. I have limited space over the next couple of months already for newborn photos. If you are in the Edmonton area, I would love to work with you, but I recommend contacting me and booking in advance so I can promise to fit you in! You can contact me here or email me directly at info (at) christywells.com.
Just over one week to go until Cassandra and Ryan’s wedding in Edmonton! It’s the start of wedding season for me and I’m so excited to kick it off with these two lovebirds and celebrate with their friends and family. Cassandra dreamt of snow for her wedding day, which if you live in Edmonton, you know right now she is going to get for sure! It is such a contrast from the warm fall evening of their engagement photos when the three of us went exploring around Whyte Ave together. I love the connection these two share, the way they laugh together and smile, you can feel the warmth of their love.
I still have a couple of spaces open for 2018 weddings. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, I would love to meet up, grab a cup of coffee and chat with you. Send me a message here and lets talk.
This stunning woman pushed me out of my comfort zone, and in doing so I discovered my passion for photographing boudoir. I can’t thank her enough. She is truly one of the most beautiful, kind-hearted souls that I know, inside and out.
