After Mike & Leanne’s beautiful, spring maternity photos we waited for their little ones arrivial. Little Mason, decided to have us wait until the last possible moment, and at 9lbs & 9oz, he wasn’t really that little either. He was such an adorable newborn baby boy, and I loved being able to cuddle with him while he was in the studio.
Congratulations Mike & Leanne on your beautiful new family of three!
Danielle and Darryl’s wedding next year will for sure be amazing! Even though it is going to be on the otherside of the country, and I won’t be able to be there to spend the day with them. We had a fun filled evening here though, dodging the rain and mosquitoes, and making memories to last a lifetime.
Danielle & Darryl, I wish for you a wonderful wedding day, and a future filled with lots of love!
Sweet little Kaiya didn’t want everyone to have to wait too long for her arrival. She made her grand entrance into the world three weeks early, the day before her Mommy & Daddy’s wedding anniversary. She reminds me so much of her big sister when she was a newborn, and I was her phographer too, and was also such an amazing little one to work with. I’ve also made sure to sneak in as many cuddles as I can with Kaiya over the last few weeks, as I know how quickly she is going to grow up!
Congrats Jerry, Kristen & Jayla on your new, stunning, family of four!
Our summer has been so busy! Not quite the lazy days of summer, but they have been wonderful! There have been many late nights, lots of old and new friends, weddings, newborn babies, and the exploring of a multitude of different playgrounds around the city. We have been enjoying every moment, as much as we can. It is hard to believe though that it is over half way done, and soon school will be in session again. I find it even more difficult to believe that my baby girl will be starting grade two in just a few short weeks. How is it possible, that my tiny little girl is ready for grade two? For her the school year will begin minus a few extra teeth, and quite a bit taller than the last. Even more signs that she is growing up on me, despite my begging her not too ;)
Before we say goodbye to summer though, Lilly has one task she plans to master. That is riding her bike without training wheels! Her brand new, dark pink bike, to be specific. Daddy is the lucky one to teach her that skill, and they are having so much fun learning together! I have enjoyed sitting back, and watching from the front step with Lyndon, while I try to soak it all in. Lyndon on the other hand is desperate to get out there and be right next to his big sister. It makes me laugh, and wonder what next summer will have in store of us!
Would you believe that one of Lilly’s favourite things to do is make other people laugh? I am pretty sure that trait, she gets from her Dad ;)

It was cold, and rainy. We had to change locations at the last minute for their maternity session, and thankfully they trusted me, as their photographer, completely. This may be my longest blog post to date, and I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Luv you guys ♥.
It has been just over two years now, since Jayla graced my blog for the first time. She was the very first newborn I ever photographed, and now I she is growing up into such a beautiful little girl. At times it still feels like yesterday that she was that little 5lbs newborn I got to hold. It has been such an honor for me to watch her grow, and she has a very special place in my heart.
Stay tuned for more of Jayla and her parents, very soon!
What a prescious little princess Victoria is! Her Mommy contacted me after she had already arrived, and I was so happy that we were able to squeeze her into the newborn studio for a visit. Victoria, also brought along her big brother Asher when she came by. He however was far more interested in playing with all of the toys I had for him, than having his own pictures taken.
Congratulation Esther & Michael on your beautiful family of four!
Sometimes everything falls perfectly into place. The rain stopped, the cherry blossoms were blooming, and Leanne and Mike were ready for a slightly earlier maternity session. With the exception of the mosquitoes, which they braved, it was just absolutely perfect!
As a newborn photographer in Edmonton I have had the joy of meeting quite a few bundles of joy. Out of all the newborns I have ever met though, I have never had a baby sleep quite like little Lily! She was already sound asleep when she walked into the studio, and continued to sleep until nearly the very end of her session. I posed her, moved her around to different setups, and was even able to try a few new things, and she never once batted an eye. She was truly a little sleeping beauty! It was nice for her Mommy too, as it gave her sometime to relax in the studio, while Lily and I worked.
Congratulations Cheryl and Adam, Lily is beautiful!
