Princess Peach & a miniature version of Daddy. Together, they set out hand in hand, with their little orange buckets. ‘Jack’ sat watch on the front steps until they safely arrived home. Lyndon told everyone who opened the door that he was a ‘hockey player’, and somehow that alone earned him a little extra chocolate almost every time. Eventually cold, tired, and wide-eyed about their haul, they stumbled through the front door and crashed in their beds for the night.
Sara and Blake contacted me many months ago to schedule their newborn session, and we all waited with anticipation for this little princess to arrive. Sweet little Elodie was absolute perfection! Right from the little blond patch of hair, on the top of her head, down to her tiny toes. Not only did she sleep like a dream for her newborn session, but she also kept giving me the cutest little smileswhile I worked. She had me wrapped around her little finger in no time!
Congrats Sara & Blake on your beautiful little princess!
It was an evening of fun, and a chance to once again wear your wedding dress! This year’s Bridal Bash, organized by the fabulous Melanie Kaban, saw a record setting 55 women come out in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation! Dressed in their finest, everyone had a chance to strut their stuff, and dance the night away to music provided by Lisa Marie of Escapade Entertainment.
A special thank you also to Bridal Debut for sponsoring this year’s event, and making the evening possible!
I can’t wait until next years event, and hope to see you all there!
A beautiful early fall evening, gorgeous sunlight, and an absoluetly stunning mommy-to-be! What more can you ask for? I know one thing for sure too, I am so excited to be able to soon meet their new baby.
After Mike & Leanne’s beautiful, spring maternity photos we waited for their little ones arrivial. Little Mason, decided to have us wait until the last possible moment, and at 9lbs & 9oz, he wasn’t really that little either. He was such an adorable newborn baby boy, and I loved being able to cuddle with him while he was in the studio.
Congratulations Mike & Leanne on your beautiful new family of three!
Danielle and Darryl’s wedding next year will for sure be amazing! Even though it is going to be on the otherside of the country, and I won’t be able to be there to spend the day with them. We had a fun filled evening here though, dodging the rain and mosquitoes, and making memories to last a lifetime.
Danielle & Darryl, I wish for you a wonderful wedding day, and a future filled with lots of love!
Sweet little Kaiya didn’t want everyone to have to wait too long for her arrival. She made her grand entrance into the world three weeks early, the day before her Mommy & Daddy’s wedding anniversary. She reminds me so much of her big sister when she was a newborn, and I was her phographer too, and was also such an amazing little one to work with. I’ve also made sure to sneak in as many cuddles as I can with Kaiya over the last few weeks, as I know how quickly she is going to grow up!
Congrats Jerry, Kristen & Jayla on your new, stunning, family of four!
Our summer has been so busy! Not quite the lazy days of summer, but they have been wonderful! There have been many late nights, lots of old and new friends, weddings, newborn babies, and the exploring of a multitude of different playgrounds around the city. We have been enjoying every moment, as much as we can. It is hard to believe though that it is over half way done, and soon school will be in session again. I find it even more difficult to believe that my baby girl will be starting grade two in just a few short weeks. How is it possible, that my tiny little girl is ready for grade two? For her the school year will begin minus a few extra teeth, and quite a bit taller than the last. Even more signs that she is growing up on me, despite my begging her not too ;)
Before we say goodbye to summer though, Lilly has one task she plans to master. That is riding her bike without training wheels! Her brand new, dark pink bike, to be specific. Daddy is the lucky one to teach her that skill, and they are having so much fun learning together! I have enjoyed sitting back, and watching from the front step with Lyndon, while I try to soak it all in. Lyndon on the other hand is desperate to get out there and be right next to his big sister. It makes me laugh, and wonder what next summer will have in store of us!
Would you believe that one of Lilly’s favourite things to do is make other people laugh? I am pretty sure that trait, she gets from her Dad ;)

It was cold, and rainy. We had to change locations at the last minute for their maternity session, and thankfully they trusted me, as their photographer, completely. This may be my longest blog post to date, and I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Luv you guys ♥.
